Doctors Orders {Day 25} Blog Everyday in May

This post is going to lead into a post that I plan to write on Monday (Memorial Day) as a 2 year anniversary.

In early May 2011, 1 year and 1 month after giving birth to my second son, I was at my annual checkup. My doctor asked if there were any concerns or problems I was having. There were none, but I wanted to address the chronic feeling of being hot and sweaty – ALL THE TIME. Even in the winter, I walked around in Tshirts and it didn’t matter what material my clothing was made of – I was constantly sweating and overall, uncomfortable. She did suggest running a few tests to make sure it didn’t have anything to do with my thyroid and then she also suggested that she didn’t think that was the problem.

“I’d like to see some of the weight come off.”

That’s all I needed to hear.

There is  more to this post that will come on Monday.
